The first part of the trip is spent on Mafia Island, a quiet and authentic island south of Zanzibar where mass tourism has not yet made its entrance. Here you will stay at Basecamp Mafia Island, a personal eco-resort located in the middle of Mafia Island Marine Park. The focus is on nature experiences, sustainability and tranquility, both above and below the surface.
After the days on Mafia, the journey continues to Zanzibar. Where the pace is still relaxed, but the range of experiences is somewhat broader. In Zanzibar, you stay near the beach at the Zanzibar Pearl Boutique Hotel, a charming and personal base for diving, snorkeling and beach life on the island's east coast.
