Training, certifications and recreational diving
Atmopshere resorts in Dauin offer several fun courses focusing on what is normally called technical diving or tech diving. For example, they offer TDI courses, including Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Helitrox and Trimix up to 100 meters.
The resort has a state-of-the-art compressor room. Here, they can, among other things,anda air, and Trimix, up to 200 bar, as well as lots of tanks for Nitrox. everything from AL13 to AL100.
Special equipment available includes support for CCR (rebreathers), double tanks, sidemount and SUEX DPVs (underwater vehicles) available for rental and training.
In addition to deeper dives at Apo Island where you can sometimes see hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks and other larger animals, there are other places. For example, the wreck near Selogin Island which is located at a depth of about 50–65 meters.

Diving in Dauin
Beautiful Apo Island
Nearby Apo Island offers great diving. Here you have the chance to see turtles, sea snakes, schools of tuna and lots of clownfish. The diving here is very suitable for technical diving and has become a favorite. For those who go deeper there are opportunities to see schools of sharks and other species that often stay deeper. Hammerhead sharks are sometimes seen especially at certain times of the year and also thresher sharks.
You also have a wreck a short distance away at a depth of about 60 meters that is excellent for technical diving.
Diving around Apo Island is quite different from diving along the coast. Chapel Point, Cogon and The Sanctuary are popular sites with steep walls and healthy hard coral. Here you will find large moray eels, clownfish and lots of gobies and plenty of shrimp in the sand. You can also see blue ribbon eels, various nudibranchs and sea snakes. At Cogon there is a large school of tuna that will sometimes let you swim right in amongst them. A truly unique and magical experience.
The diving in the area along the coast is mainly known for its macro diving and strange wildlife. With short car rides or boat trips you can reach places and several nice reefs along the coast. There are also places for wide angle such as coral reefs, schools of tuna and groupers. Of course also the whale sharks off southern Cebu which sometimes make their way to Dauin.
The dive sites along the coast of Dauin are generally sandy slopes that offer easy diving for divers of all levels. The sites can be reached either by boat or beach diving. Here you can see triggerfish, parrotfish, moray eels, surgeonfish, snappers, groupers, gobies, batfish, dragonfish, trumpetfish, blowfish, filefish, wrasse and tuna. The area also has several artificial reefs that attract a large number of marine animals and fry.
Atmosphere resort
Atmosphere Resort offers incredibly good and comfortable accommodation and is located directly on the sea. Whether you are a technical diver, free diver, diver, non-diver or traveling with the family, this is a true paradise.
The resort has its own dive center with a tech center and a house reef that offers really good macro diving.
The dive sites in Dauin are all close by boat. Here at the resort there is a pool and large open spaces.
Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You leave Scandinavia and fly to Manila.
Day 2
Arrival and you have one night's accommodation at the airport hotel. Accommodation includes breakfast.
Day 3
Flight to Dumaguete and transfer to Atmosphere resort.
Day 3 and onwards
Arrival at Atmosphere resort. Number of nights here according to your wishes and type of technical diving you request. Training, equipment rental, recreational diving depending on your wishes and what is technically possible.
The last day
It's time to head home again after a magical vacation in Dauin, Philippines, transfer to Dumaguete and flight to Manila and international flight to Scandinavia
