Romblon in the Philippines is perhaps the Philippines' true macro paradise. Join us in the spring of 2028 and you are almost guaranteed to see species you have never seen before. Romblon is located in the middle of the Philippines. A bit of a trek to get to but well worth the trip. This is a macro paradise for those who want to see new species and love macro, corals and a living sea. This is for those who like to take photos, discover new things and at the same time dive a lot and enjoy peace and quiet.
Marine Ecology and UV Photo Tips
Those who join this trip will have a unique opportunity to learn more about the interactions in nature. Ecologist Bent Christensen is on the trip. He will tell you more about what you can see and experience below the surface and the interactions of species in nature.
You and the other group participants will have fantastic days of diving and relaxation. But also get a unique opportunity to learn more about nature and tips on UV photography with all that entails. Here at the resort in Romblon you are really far from the usual tourist routes. Directly by the sea surrounded by mangroves and lush greenery you live simply but comfortably. Here you have full focus on diving, experiencing, eating and sleeping. A wonderful opportunity to experience socializing and relaxation.

Ecologist Bent Christensen who has extensive experience of diving in Southeast Asia. Bent has been on many group trips over the years and will tell you more about the interaction in nature for and against each other. About the chaos/war/order that the world below the surface is. Bent is also a skilled photographer and will be able to give tips on how you can take pictures and document exciting marine life.
Diving in Romblon, Philippines
Romblon in the central Philippines is gaining more and more attention for its fantastic and unique diving. New species for those who want to see something new are almost guaranteed. The articdom is outstanding and here you can find some of the world's most sought-after marine species, especially nudibranchs (nudibranchs) but also pygmy seahorses, strange crustaceans and much, much more. In addition, fantastic reefs, coral gardens with lots of marine life, fish and enormous species diversity. Here you can find fish of all imaginable sizes, colors and shapes, even sometimes reef sharks, turtles, tuna, barracuda and other species are sometimes seen but also stingrays and eagle rays with luck.
The invertebrates, octopuses, nudibranchs, crustaceans and echinoderms dominate together with sponges, sea squirts and various corals or cnidarians. The species richness is fantastic and all dive sites are relatively close so it is rarely a long trip. The diving is varied and different animals thrive more or less well in different places so one day is rarely the same as the next. But with the help of experienced guides with trained eyes and knowledge of marine life you will be able to experience a lot of fun and excitement with a variety of strange animals that you may not have thought or even knew existed.
Romblon is a real diving paradise and the best time to go here is during the spring when the weather is relatively stable and the area is at its best normal. Three P resort
You will stay at Three P resort. This is a small resort and is located a bit secluded so there is peace and quiet. The rooms are simply furnished but offer good comfortable accommodation and what you need to enjoy and relax. All rooms have their own shower and toilet, air conditioning and a veranda outside where it is nice to relax for a while after the day's activities. Full board is offered here on your diving trip. The resort is not for those looking for luxury, the luxury is to be here and dive but it is pleasant and the diving outweighs the effort to get here. 08 diving days with a total of 24 dives are pre-booked. For those who want more diving, we recommend booking on site. So-called Bonfire diving and Black water can be booked on site as well as excursions a little further afield.
Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You leave Scandinavia and fly to Manilla, the capital of the Philippines
Day 2
Arrival in Manila where you check in at the airport hotel
Day 3
Transfer from hotel to port and onward by ferry. Arrival early morning the next day after midnight and transfer directly to resort to sleep.
Day 4 -13
09 nights accommodation in a deluxe double room including full board. 08 diving days with 24 dives pre-booked including tank, weights, boat and guide. Lectures by Bent Christensen – marine ecology.
Day 13
You check out of the resort and here it is either a transfer to the airport and flight to Scandinavia or for those who extend the trip either a continued stay in the Philippines or perhaps in a major city on the way home. We will of course help you with arrangements here too.
Day 14
Arrival at port and transfer to airport Flight back to Scandinavia
