Buddy Dive, incredibly comfortable
Buddy Dive has a dive center where there is always a lot of activity. Outside, the ocean and house reef are just a step away from the jetty. This is where the adventure begins, it doesn't get any easier than this. The resort is right on the ocean and offers accommodation with several options in apartments. Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple or in a group, accommodation can be arranged to suit the size of your party. Breakfast is included in your accommodation and then you have your diving course. The pace is relaxed and the days are shaped at your own pace, and between dives there is time to enjoy the surroundings, eat and let the experiences sink in.
Bonaire has a lot to see and experience on land too and even though the island is small it is worth visiting the town for a day. Why not rent a car for a day and drive around the island. Since the island has a Mediterranean-like climate, it is not covered in tropical greenery like many other islands in the Caribbean. Cacti, lizards, flamingos, donkeys, mangroves and various bird species are common to see.

Diving around Bonaire
Buddy Dive resort on Bonaire is perhaps one of the world's most popular and famous dive centers. The proximity to the sea with its own house reef, a large fleet of its own boats, a diving center directly by the sea and the starting point and the concept, Drive & Dive or diving freedom as it is called, is on the verge of being unbeatable and incomparable to any other diving center in the world. Free diving, accommodation with breakfast, transfers and rental car in the basic packages means you can dive as much as you want every day, when you want and where you want. No times to fit in and you eat when it suits you, take a break when you feel like it and dive when the urge is back.
The simplicity is unique
There are several different room types here and it is ideal for diving couples as well as smaller and larger groups. The resort has a pool and once a week there is the owners' rum punch party, sometimes with slide shows, lectures and competitions or just socializing. Many people come here again and again for the simplicity and of course for the warm waters, fantastic visibility and we'll take it again, the simplicity.
For those who don't dive, there is the opportunity for some excursions, sun and swimming or just go with other divers and discover the island. Buddy Dive Resort
Buddy Dive Resort is a lovely resort that offers accommodation, with packages where you can learn to dive, dive on your own, dive by boat, dive from shore, car rental and much more.
This is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable diving in the world. You don't have to meet any deadlines and you basically do it all by yourself.
Accommodation includes apartments of various sizes and the accommodation offers breakfast and then you choose which diving package you want and the number of nights.
Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You leave Scandinavia and fly to Bonaire.
Day 2 - 5
The Open Water course normally starts the day after arrival and lasts for three to four days with both pool training and ocean dives. Before the trip, you will have access to e-learning, so you can go through the theory in advance.
Day 6 - 7
After completing the course, there is the option to add more dives, either in advance or on site. Here you also have the option to rent a car and get around and experience the island on land.
Day 8
It's time to head home again after a magical vacation on Bonaire.
Day 9
TravelandaI'm back home early this morning after a trip filled with diving and great memories.
