Experience Joys fantastic underwater world together with Havsport Dykkesenter! This 7-night trip takes you to the scenic island of Gozo, where you stay at Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn Bay and dive with Calypso Dive Resort. Over five days you will complete ten exciting dives in Gozo's most iconic locations, from dramatic caves and wrecks to crystal clear waters and colorful reefs. In between dives there is time to enjoy the island's charm, sun and local delicacies. A perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and unforgettable experiences under the Mediterranean sun.
The island of Gozo belongs to Malta and has a total of about 52 km of coastline. The island is well known for its underwater topography and is considered by many to be one of the best diving sites in the world. But the small island also offers a lot above the surface. Gozo has a beautiful landscape with dramatic rock formations and picturesque small villages. Here you can feel the history and culture and the island has a nice and relaxed atmosphere about it. Land-based diving here around Gozo is otherwise one of the big draws.
Perhaps Gozo's most famous dive site is the Blue Hole and is located where the Azure Window once stood. You go down into a natural pool and continue out into the open water at a depth of approximately 8 meters. Here you come to dramatic cliffs that extend down to 50 meters and visibility is often very good. Another of Gozo's most famous dive sites is The Inland Sea – the dive starts in greenish water and after swimming through an 80m tunnel through the rock you emerge into crystal clear water in a stunning deep blue colour.

Diving with Calypso Divers
Calypso Divers is a dive center that has been in existence since 1985 and over the years has built up a well-deserved good reputation for being service-oriented and having a strong customer focus. To maintain their high level of service, they continually invest in their facilities and diving equipment.
The staff is very helpful and there are instructors who speak English, German and Italian. The diving center is happy to help book other activities such as transfers, renting a car and accommodation.
Calypso Hotel
Calypso Hotel is located in the small and picturesque fishing village of Marsalforn about 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal in Mgarr. The hotel has about 100 rooms and most of the rooms have a lovely view of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea or the beautiful Xaghra Hill. Marsalforn is a quiet little village that offers cozy restaurants, shops and a beach just a five minute walk from the hotel.
The rooms at Calypso Hotel are equipped with a bath or shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, balcony or terrace, minibar and there is access to a safe for a fee. All rooms have access to Wi-Fi free of charge, and it is available in the hotel lobby for a fee. On the roof terrace there is a sun deck with a swimming pool and a bar serving lunch dishes.
Itinerary day by day
Day 1
You fly to Valletta and continue by transfer and ferry to Gozo. After a short crossing you check into the Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn Bay. The evening is free for relaxation.
Day 2 - 7
Five days of diving at classic sites such as Reqqa Point, Cathedral Cave and the Blue Hole with Calypso Diving Centre. Afternoons and evenings are free for swimming, excursions and dinner along the Marsalforn promenade.
Day 8
After a week of experiences, the journey returns to Malta for a flight home to Trondheim via Copenhagen, full of new diving memories and Gozo's hospitality.
