For those of you who have dived and traveled a lot and want exciting dive trips and to a part of the world that not many people visit, Papua New Guinea or PNG as it is called for short is a fantastic adventure and safari. A liveaboard and Papua New Guinea Safari is an experience that will take you to paradise. Getting to this remote part of the world that few people visit requires a little planning. You will need one or two night stopovers along the way. Australian is the most natural stop but it is also possible to get here via Singapore, Bali, Filippi ErnaHong Kong, Fiji and Solomon Islands. All these destinations can therefore also be combined and you can have an absolutely fantastic trip.
Papua New Guinea has a rich history from World War II and there are plenty of wrecks and remains on land. Here you will also find a unique culture and with many different types of environments and people. There are over 700 different languages here although Pidgin English is unifying. The reefs in some parts are beautiful and full of marine life. Here you will find an incredible variety of larger fish and macro and very beautiful corals in many places. Mantas gather in some places and reef sharks are common.
Some places can be very current so we recommend that you are used to diving in current water. Depending on where in the country you go you will do dives and find completely different types of diving. PNG is larger than Sweden in terms of area and there are only a few dive centers in the entire country. A liveaboard is therefore the ultimate way to experience a little more of the fantastic diving here.
