In winter, the southern parts are the place to go for liveaboard diving in Oman and the Hallaniyat Islands. A liveaboard and safari is a great trip that takes you to an area of the Indian Ocean that is famous for humpback whales, among other things. Around these islands and the southern coast you will also find what is perhaps Oman's most varied diving. There is also a fantastic marine diversity and a lot of fish. Here you dive along the coast and at the barren islands the cliffs are dramatic and exciting both above and below the surface.
If you are lucky here you can also see humpback whales here. A group of humpback whales are here that are more or less resident in this area. It is also a population that is even genetically different from other humpback whales in the world. Here you also usually see large numbers of dolphins that live well on what the rich waters give them here. There is also a wreck to dive on that is teeming with marine life. You can also encounter mantas and mobulas here sometimes. If you are lucky, you can also see the very beautiful and strange twin faced toad fish in fairly shallow water. A species that was discovered as late as 1994 for the first time. As far as we know, it is completely endemic to Oman. There are otherwise over 1100 different fish species documented in Oman's waters at Hallaniyat Islands.

The exact route during your diving trip around the Hallaniyat Islands and the coast of southern Oman with your liveaboard usually changes a little from time to time. The tour is partly dependent on the weather, but also dependent on the experience, interest and wishes of all guests. If the port authorities should issue regulations that diving trips must change route, they must be strictly followed. This may affect the content of the tour somewhat. for those who want an exciting adventure with really varied diving, Hallaniyat Island's Oman Liveaboard is a really good diving safari and diving trip.
