Jardinas de la Reina

Jardinas de la Reina

For those who want to experience The Caribbeans best diving and most beautiful coral reefs are Jardinas de la Reina. A liveaboard and safari to Cuba and a week in the Queen's Gardens. Compared to the reefs in the rest of the Caribbean and also other parts of Cuba, the reefs in Jardinas de la Reina are what you wish reefs in this part of the world looked like. Healthy, thriving corals, lots of fish, clear water with fantastic visibility. Large sharks and fish that fill the reefs with life and excitement.

A closed archipelago, only open to a few divers per year

You can only get to this closed archipelago in southern Cuba with a liveaboard and it's about a five-hour boat ride out of the country so it's empty here. A few islands, reefs and mangroves. There are a few liveaboarders here today and coming here is a fantastic experience. It really feels like you are beyond everything. On board you have good standards, good service and skilled guides. When you step in at certain places at the openings to the reefs where water flows in and out, you hardly know where to jump in. There can be sharks everywhere and the first feeling of jumping in can be that your stomach tingles.
