A liveaboard safari in Fiji is one of the most highly regarded dive trips in the world. It combines the comfort of a well-equipped vessel with spectacular dive sites in the famous Bligh Water and other parts of the archipelago. A typical week onboard is a mix of underwater adventures, relaxation on deck, and encounters with both marine life and local culture.
A Fiji dive trip usually lasts for seven or ten nights and is usually booked well in advance. As Nai'a has a good reputation and places fill up quickly, we recommend booking at least two years in advance.
A stay on a diving trip and Liveaboard in Fiji is not just about diving. Between dives there is time to relax on the sun deck, read a book or review the day's photos in the camera room. Many guests also appreciate the strong community that develops on board - here you share experiences, learn from each other and form friendships that often last long after the trip.
For non-divers, snorkeling is offered and sometimes visits to local villages, where you can experience Fijian culture and traditions.
A liveaboard and safari in Fiji is the perfect balance between adventure and comfort. Every day offers new underwater experiences – from colorful soft corals to encounters with sharks and manta rays – while life on board offers relaxation, good food and community. This is a dive trip and safari that not only provides memories of life below the surface, but also of the world above.

A typical day starts early with a cup of coffee and a brief briefing about the first dive site of the day. This is followed by a morning dive where you are often met with colorful coral walls and schools of fish in the current. Larger species such as rays, tuna, reef sharks and turtles are relatively common.
After breakfast, another dive awaits, before it's time for lunch and some time to rest on deck.
In the afternoon you will make a third dive, often at a dramatic peak or coral head where the current attracts various predatory fish.
When the sun goes down, night dives are sometimes offered, where you can experience completely different species: octopuses, nudibranchs and corals that open up in the dark.
Diving takes place from small boats (skiffs) that quickly take groups to the right location. Nitrox is available for an additional fee if you wish.
Fiji is often called the “soft coral capital of the world”. On your diving trip you will come to some of the most spectacular places. Bligh Water is known for its nutrient-rich currents that give the corals their intense colors. Here you will often encounter grey reef sharks, barracudas and sometimes manta rays or eagle rays.
For those who like macro life, there are plenty of small creatures. For example, there are pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs or nudibranchs and lots of different crustaceans and squids hiding in the nooks and crannies of the coral. The topography is as varied as the fauna – caves, tunnels, pinnacles and bommies create a dramatic underwater scene.
