A pinnacle dive is where you stay in the same spot in the lee and protection of the reef and let the water flow by around you. At these dive sites you can also see large pelagic species. For example, blackfin, whitefin and gray reef sharks, mantas, mobulas, eagle rays, shoal tuna and horse mackerel to name a few. Highlights of your Komodo diving trip include Galley Rock, Mexican Hat, Rollercoaster, Pannetonne Wall, Manta alley, Sangeang, Horse shoe bay and The Waterfalls.

You can do a liveaboard in Komodo in two different ways. Either go with your liveaboard directly from Bali and to Komodo and then back. Then you also dive on the way there and home. Alternatively, you fly to the island of Flores and your liveaboard starts from here. If you go from Bali, you avoid the domestic flight and you don't have to think about the time between the diving and your flight. If you fly to Flores, you get a little more diving Komodo National park as it is closer. On the other hand, you must have an extra overnight stay in Flores to secure the time between diving and your flight.
You can dive in Komodo and live ashore
