Blue Star Dive resort, Bohol, Anda

Blue Star Dive resort in Bohol and Anda is located on the cliffs above the sea and has a wonderful view out over the Bohol Sea. Anda on the southeast side of the island is surrounded by a 15 kilometer long coral reef. Here have really good diving and experiences. This applies to both snorkelers and divers.

If you like diving trips that provide adventure and land activities, Bohol is also a good island. Although the island is large and it can be difficult to do everything, there is a lot to do and see here. Here you have everything from diving and snorkelling in the sea and when you want to enjoy yourself there is a Spa. Take the opportunity to treat yourself to a massage one day after your diving and feel like you really are on vacation.

Here in Anda, a good distance away from big cities, you have the opportunity to relax. You are close to nature here at all times and the resort offers peace and seclusion. You really get away from the hectic and stressful city life.

The resort is small and personal and offers three different categories of rooms. The rooms are relatively simple but give you what you need. The rooms have either garden or sea views. There is also a pool located in the middle of the facility where you can relax between your dives and treat yourself to a refreshing drink. It also has its own restaurant and bar where you can eat and enjoy the view of the sea.

You can of course also combine your diving trip and stay in Anda with other locations in the Philippines or with one live board.

Diving in the Bohol Sea

Bohol Island is located in the middle of the so-called coral triangle. This is a global center for marine biodiversity. Here you can find 76% of the world's coral species, 6 of the world's 7 marine turtle species and over 2 reef fish species. Blue Star Dive resort gives you the opportunity to enjoy and experience this paradise below the surface. The resort is located on the rocks and has a staircase down to the sea. Here you can relax and explore all the 000 or so dive sites in the area that offer great variety.

In the main, the dive sites are located less than 10 minutes from the diving center. Here you can see the smallest of the sea, from tiny nudibranchs and crustaceans as well as pygmy seahorses to real giants. Sometimes whale sharks, whales, dolphins, turtles and large schools of barracudas and tuna pass by. In addition, there are also very fine corals in the area and with many different types of diving.

Up to four dives per day are possible, but you may also want to relax between dives in the nice pool. It is also possible to dive out on the house reef. The dive center is a 5* PADI resort and they have two boats that take you to your dive every other day. For those who want to train and learn to dive and get a diving certificate, it is also completely possible on site. They also offer many different special courses for those who are interested.

The dive sites vary from wall diving and coral gardens to slopes and sandy bottoms. Here there are large shoals of fish and lots of turtles. You will also find a huge selection of critters. You can see pygmy seahorses, spiny seahorses, endless species of nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, blueringed octopus, mimic octopus, wunderpus, mototi, mandarin fish and many many more species.
