Highlights on your diving trip to the southern Red Sea
This liveaboard will take you to some of the best and most beautiful dive sites the Red Sea has to offer. The diving is not too strenuous so it is suitable for those who want to be able to relax and enjoy their diving at the fascinating reefs. Depending on the weather and possibly exciting sightings of marine life in recent weeks, the liveaboard may take a detour. Then they may go to the southernmost islands Rocky and Zabargad. Alternatively, time is spent at the huge reef system in St John's and sometimes the tour also goes out to Daedalus.
Sometimes the route goes via Abu Dabbab on the first or last day. On the way to Fury shoal and StJohns in southern Egypt, you can dive in Sha'ab Sharm which offers nice wall dives and often white tip reef sharks. Årfin sharks and silky sharks can sometimes be seen in the blue. Also turtles frequents the southern side of this reef on its way south. At Fury Shoals you can dive in Sha'ab Claude which has lots of exciting swim throughs in the reef. The reef is likened by many to a large labyrinth. Abu Galawa Soraya has a fantastic coral garden and here there is also a wreck of a private sailing boat which is now populated by a large shoal of glass fish.
For the trip Fury Shoal and St Johns in Egypt with a liveaboard you should have an Advanced Open water certificate or equivalent. The diving is not difficult but it is about getting the most out of it and sometimes if you add the trip to the outer islands of Rocky and Zabargad a little more experience may be required.
