Malahini Tripst

Malahini Tripst in the Maldives is located on the small island of Kuda Bandos. This island has for many years been a very popular picnic island thanks to its proximity to the capital, Malé. The island also has incredibly beautiful beaches that increase the feeling of paradise. In 2016, this island was transformed into a modern small Tripst named Malahini.

Malahini is a unique island, as it is a bit of a mix of one guesthouse and a Tripst. The Tripst is run on a small scale, which makes it feel familiar and the service is personal. The facilities are simple and modern. Here, there is a bar with an alcohol license and the option to book an all-inclusive package. This makes it different from the islands that have so-called guesthouses. When you have been in the Maldives for a week on board one live board is a few days of relaxation at Malahini a really nice and affordable extension. It is also easy as the island is close to the airport. It doesn't take more than about 20 minutes to get there.

Several different room types and plenty of activities

Malahini has a total of 82 rooms in five different categories. There are garden rooms, superior rooms, deluxe rooms, Sunrise beach pool villas with 1-3 bedrooms and sunset beach suites. All rooms are simple in design, but equipped with everything you need for a few days' stay. All rooms have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. If you want the luxury of it, we recommend the independent beach villas. They are slightly larger and are located in the best location on the island and have a lovely bathroom with an outdoor shower and they offer a minibar.

At Malahini there is a restaurant and a bar and you also have a spa and gym. A water sports center gives you the opportunity to rent, for example, jet skis, kayaks, SUP boards or catamarans. The house reef that surrounds the island offers great snorkeling where you can see both turtles and small reef sharks. In the afternoons, they often play volleyball on the beach. A boat transfer to the nearby sister island of Bandos is available and runs four times a day. Perfect for those who want to try another restaurant at Bandos Tripst.
