Here at Chole Bay, you have one of the most protected and species-rich areas in the entire Mafia Island Marine Park. The water is usually calm, clear and full of life, making the place ideal for both diving and snorkeling. Diving in the area is known for its coral gardens with a wide variety of marine species. Both fish and invertebrates, reptiles and marine mammals. Parrotfish, butterflyfish, angelfish and clownfish are constant companions. In the corals hide small shrimps and crabs and sometimes different species of squid, nudibranchs and echinoderms.
