Offering diving in central Philippines, Evolution Malapascua is a small resort. The resort offers everything you need to enjoy the fantastic diving and have a great holiday. The resort is small and has a total of 16 rooms where you can choose between air conditioning or fan rooms. All rooms are located a short distance from the white sandy beach and are surrounded by palm trees, sand and hammocks. Here in one of the quietest areas on Malapascua you have an excellent place to rest and relax between and after your dive.
All rooms have free drinking water and a private terrace. You are only a few meters from the beach, the restaurant and the dive shop.
Evolution Diving Resort has some of the most affordable rooms on Malapascua Island. The rooms are small and simple but they are of good quality and everything you need is in the rooms.
Great food and lovely pub
The resort has one of the most popular restaurants on the island - "The Craic House". There you will find delicious homemade food for all taste buds and they have a large selection of vegetarian dishes as well. The restaurant has a good reputation for its high service and tasty food. Here you will not find quantities of dishes on the menu. This is “THE pub” at Malapascua.
You'll find a smaller pub-inspired menu that's constantly changing and gives a sense of local produce. Using the freshest local produce and the best imported ingredients, you will find the menu familiar. Still, the dishes can feel far removed from what you're used to at home.
The dive center offers diving every day and they have a wide range of both PADI diving courses and more technically oriented diving. Evolution is a 5 star TDI center and they have first class equipment for tech, trimix and CCR rebreather diving. There is equipment to rent. They have different sizes of bottles and also training and equipment for you who want to dive sidemount. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced technical diver, they can take care of your needs.

Diving around Malapascua
Evolution is owned and operated by two of the most experienced instructors in the Philippines who also live full time on the island. The diving center is located almost directly on the beach. The team is always ready to help you have the best diving experience possible. Here you can do up to four dives per day and they try to offer a lot of variety in the schedule.
Malapascua is known for almost daily being able to experience and meet the amazingly beautiful thresher sharks at the reef, Monad Shoal. There is also incredible macro diving and several other great dive sites. You can do wreck diving on Dona Marilyn and Mogami Maru but here you also dive on colorful reefs. The mix is great with both deep dives and shallow dives. All this combined is what makes Malapascua one of the most popular dive sites in the Philippines for both divers and snorkelers.
Monad Shoal with its thresher sharks is on the agenda almost every morning. There are of course also other local dive sites to experience. Places like Bogtong Bato, Lapus Lapus, Chocolate Island or day trips to Gato Island, Dona Marylin or Kalanggaman Island. Of course, the famous Evolution House Reef is available every day.
The dive center regularly changes and upgrades the equipment that is available for rent. They do all the servicing themselves on site. This guarantees that everything is done to the highest standard.andard. The dive center is an internationally recognized Aqualung Partner Center and only has Apeks regulators for its customers to rent.
The center's TDI Five Star Instructor Training Facility and PADI Resort is equipped with Nitrox (and Helium) for certified divers. If you are not yet certified, they can arrange that too with a course. All rental bottles have a DIN mount but they have adapters for you and all customers using Yoke.
