Dolphin Dream

Dolphin Dream

Dolphin Dream Liveaboard Bahamas is synonymous today with Action. Action with sharks! Dolphin Dream is owned and operated by Captain Scott who has over 30 years experience diving with sharks in the Bahamas. This means a big difference in terms of the boat's condition and level of service. Captain Scott spends more time at sea on the boat than he does on land, making it truly his home. He always wants it to be clean, run well and have good food on board.

Great experience and a lot of focus on safety

Dolphin Dream liveaboard in the Bahamas is a US flag vessel and she is built and equipped well above all safety standards for vessels of that size. She has twin engines, twin generators, twin air compressors, full air conditioning, safety boat and all other equipment to make your life on board comfortable and safe. There are five cabins with full-size bunk beds and one larger cabin with a double bed. Maximum number of guests on board is 12. On the main deck is the saloon, which makes it comfortable and safe in case of worse weather.

All cabins are on the lower deck aft of the centerline which is the most comfortable place on a boat. The salon has four benches and four chairs and two dining tables. Kitchen and lounge are separated by a serving counter. On board there is a drinks bar with fridge, ice machine, coffee pots and sink. Power sockets and space for cameras are under the benches. The lounge has a small 27-inch TV, DVD, stereo, book and video library. Three spaces with showers and toilets and an outdoor shower are available on board and are shared among the guests.

In the stern there are tables for camera care and sinks for cameras. The diving deck has space for diving bottles and equipment and benches to change at. There are large searchlights that shine into the water for those who want to snorkel or dive at night. On the upper deck there is a small inflatable boat (for rescue and quick transport), storage boxes for equipment, a sun deck and a part that is covered to be able to protect from the sun. From here you also have the opportunity to look out over the sea to see sharks and dolphins.

Simple and comfortable life on board with eat, dive, sleep – repeat!

Internet is missing so you are far from the usual mass tourism. All meals on board include good home cooking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared fresh, while snacks of fruit, nuts and sweets are always available. Drinks such as ice water, juice, coffee, hot and cold tea and lemonade are included. The ship is manned by a captain, 2-3 divers on deck and a cook. All are trained to provide you with safe and good service. Safety is of the highest priority, especially when you are in the water. There are always two crewmen on the boat keeping watch. If someone gets into trouble while snorkeling or diving, there is always at least one crew in the water with you when you are snorkeling and diving.

On the boats in the Bahamas, a so-called "open pool diving" or "open deck" is sometimes applied. This means that since the dives are so shallow, you can choose to do several dives per day during the day when you feel like it. As a guest, you yourself are responsible for your diving profile. You also have the opportunity to visit some of the islands. One liveaboard to the Bahamas is a powerful experience and fantastic diving trip. Contact us for your diving adventure in the Bahamas.
