Coral Eye Bangka is a boutique resort located on Bangka Island in North Sulawesi. Right in the heart of the Coral Triangle, one of the world's most species-rich marine ecosystems. The resort's origins lie in a marine research station, giving the place a unique mix of scientific passion, diving and genuine love for the sea. The resort is located on a long white sandy beach surrounded by tropical nature and mangrove forests, only about 90 minutes transfer from Manado International Airport. Bangka Island has no roads, making it the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here you are invited to slow down and reconnect with nature. A place where nature rules and time follows the rhythm of the tides. As you explore the island, look out for parrots high in the trees, tarsiers hiding among the branches, cuscuses climbing silently and monitor lizards crossing the path in front of you. For those who want to explore the coast more actively, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for rent, perfect for discovering coves and beaches at your own pace.

Beach Pavilion
At the heart of the resort, the Beach Pavilion welcomes guests to an inviting oceanfront setting. With its open-plan design, theanda and the quiet location by the beach, this has become Coral Eye's gathering point for relaxation, socializing and fellowship.
Marine Outpost
Marine Outpost is designed to put the guest at the center. It features a spacious and open area that is accessible 24/7. Where social spaces, workspaces and private corners merge. The building is located next to the dive center and serves as Coral Eye's welcome center. With a reception, a small library, boutique, a cozy lounge and the iconic co-working table. Upstairs, the Superior rooms open onto a wide terrace with views of the sea.
Whether you seek privacy or a shared experience, Coral Eye offers accommodations that allow you to enjoy a coastal retreat. The spacious Pool, Beach and Garden Villas are spread across the grounds, creating an intimate retreat. Superior Rooms are located in the Marine Outpost, a building that symbolizes the resort’s unique character.

Diving
The waters around Coral Eye offer colorful sloping reefs dominated by hard corals and dramatic volcanic pillars covered in soft corals, home to a fantastic variety of marine life. Several dive sites around the island instead have sandy bottoms, rich in macrolife. Some of these areas have black volcanic sand, reminiscent of muck diving in Lembeh Strait, and offer excellent opportunities to discover rare and hard-to-find species. The mangrove areas create a completely different environment where juvenile fish and small invertebrates thrive among the roots. Offshore, seagrass beds form food sources for species such as dugongs and contribute to the island’s overall ecological diversity.
Their well-equipped dive center is located right on the beach and features a terrace and a “wet room” where each guest has their own place to wash and store their diving equipment. The dive center is designed to meet the needs of both recreational and professional divers.
The boats are built for comfort and safety, with easy back-roll entry, oxygen, first aid kit, life jackets and VHF radio. A shaded area and sun deck comfortably accommodate 6-8 divers – perfect for relaxing during surface breaks or traveling between dive sites. For everyone’s safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted on board.
