Why should I go on a group trip?

For those of you who want to go on a pre-arranged trip with others and maybe also want to learn something new or be part of a slightly different experience. Then you should join one of our group trips. For those of you who travel alone and want to meet new people, these are also fantastic opportunities to travel and dive. We offer three different types of group trips, read more below about the different types and see which kind of trip might suit you best. We of course also offer tailor-made trips if you don't want to travel in a group. What is an ambassadorial trip?

Scuba Travel's ambassador trips are specially designed diving trips where you travel with and are led by one of our knowledgeable ambassadors. All are experts and knowledgeable in their respective fields.

These trips combine high-quality or focused diving, workshops, lectures and practical sessions in subjects such as underwater photography, marine biology, ecology, freediving and yoga, etc. Our ambassadors also have extensive travel experience and can help on site and provide valuable tips and ideas for future trips.
Over the years, interest in these trips has increased significantly. Our ambassadors who travel almost always fill their trips with interested participants, and if you are interested, you should register well in advance to ensure you get a place.

What is a guided group tour?

When you go on Scuba Travel's guided group trips, you travel in a group with a person who is an experienced traveler and knowledgeable and experienced guide, (compare the English "Host"). Your guide is a person who loves to travel and dive. They can take care of and help with logistics and guiding at the destination if necessary. The benefits of going on guided group trips include security, companionship and convenience. Because the tour leader can help deal with any problems and coordinate and inspire on site. These people have traveled with groups before and can provide tips and inspiration for future trips and destinations.

Many people like to travel in groups but don't want to have as much focus on a particular activity. Then our guided group trips, which give a little more space for your own time and are less controlled, may be a better alternative than our ambassador trips. Over the years, interest in these trips has grown.
Our hosts for these trips have traveled and dived extensively and are happy to share their experiences and insights, making the trips as enjoyable and fun as possible for you and the other participants.

What other group trips are available to join?

Together with diving clubs and diving centers, Scuba Travel offers several other group trips each year to different parts of the world. Together with a representative and leader from the diving club, you travel to fantastic destinations that offer exciting and fun diving in different parts of the world.

These trips often give you the opportunity to combine your regular dives with training and taking different courses and learning a lot more. Common courses can be nitrox, stream diving, night diving or deep diving but there are many more. Going with diving clubs and diving centers is a great way to find new acquaintances who live in your area or that you already know each other from before and can experience together.

All other group trips we arrange are done together with diving clubs and diving centers and are designed according to their wishes and technical conditions to make as many people as possible want to go along. This is a really good way to maintain your diving or get started and build on your diving experience after you have started your diving career and you get to know other divers from your diving club or the trip simply suits your thoughts, dates and schedule where you can go along.
