When you hear the word Caribbean or West Indies, you might associate it with other words and images such as; holidays, paradise, beaches, umbrella drinks, relaxation and nice Caribbean music. You can experience all of this on your diving trip to the Caribbean. A wonderful combination and together with many times fantastic diving. This beautiful region offers beautiful corals. Here you will find reefs that have both soft and hard corals. Diving off walls is common and also diving off slopes full of coral and other marine life. Here you have the opportunity to see several different species of sharks in several places. With a little luck, you can see whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and many other large animals. Whales are also common at certain times of the year. Diving in Mexico's unique and beautiful cenotes is a fantastic opportunity for different experiences.
The Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico are a young ocean compared to the other world oceans. The number of species here is not as large as in, for example, i Pacific or the Far east. There is still a lot to experience here and there are often plenty of fish on the reefs. Shoals of different fish such as snappers, grunts and other species fill the reefs with life. Other fish and animals you can see are barracudas, parrot fish, butterfly fish, emperor fish, octopus, crustaceans and much more. In addition to all the fish, here you have various fungi and swaying soft corals that make the reefs more colorful and complete. Then you have your diving paradise even below the surface.
